In August 2017, Michael Wong and I participated in the Basketball Analytics portion of the 2017 NBA Hackathon application. We had to answer two questions:

1. Find the probability the Warriors can go without consecutive defeats in a season if they have an 80% chance of winning each individual game.
2. Write a program that can calculate the date an NBA team was eliminated, given the outcome of each NBA game in a season.

Even though we were not accepted, it was a great experience learning how to work in a team and assign tasks based on each other's strengths. This experience also exposed me to the world of analytics and definitely helped me focus my career goals.
